Classic Redwood Bowie 2

This custom Bowie knife was forged out of a Weatherby 6.5-300 magnum stainless steel rifle barrel. A piece of 52100 high carbon steel was placed inside the barrel before forging. This created a very unique and beautiful San-Mai Damascus pattern. The cutting edge is 60 HRC after heat treatment. The blade length is 6 1/2 inches long and has a sleek false edge running down the majority of the spine of the blade. The handle is comprised of stabilized redwood burl and features nickel silver spacers, guard, and pommel. A 6.5-300 Weatherby magnum case head adorns the pommel illustrating the blade’s unique origin.  Included with the blade is a custom leather sheath and certificate of authenticity.
